WATCH: Virat Kohli can't resist dancing to ‘My Name is Lakhan’ sung by Mumbai fans during IND vs NZ 3rd Test

New Delhi: Indian cricket sensation Virat Kohli was seen exuberantly dancing to the popular Bollywood hit 'My Name is Lakhan' during the opening day of the third Test match against New Zealand at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Interestingly, New Zealand captain Tom Latham won the toss and elected to bat first. The visiting team faced early setbacks, losing three wickets in the very first session of play.

One such video goes viral on social media, and some fans are singing actor Anil Kapoor’s famous Bollywood song ‘My Name is Lakhan’. In the video, two fans are seen singing a Bollywood song while watching the game. The fans were also having a lot of fun in the stands and were chanting, dancing and singing the song at the top of their voices. Further in the clip, they turn the camera towards the pitch, where Kohli is seen doing the hook step of the song, which is making the fans excited.

Washington Sundar took two wickets in the first session:

India have made one change in their playing XI for the third Test. Jasprit Bumrah, who is suffering from viral flu, has been rested and replaced by Mohammed Siraj. On the other hand, New Zealand have included Matt Henry and Ish Sodhi in place of Tim Southee and Mitchell Santner.

Ravindra Jadeja made a comeback:

New Zealand did not have a good start. Akash Deep dismissed Devon Conway LBW for 4 (11). After losing early wickets, Will Young along with captain Tom Latham handled the innings and both took the team’s score beyond 50. Sundar ended their partnership by dismissing Latham for 28 (44). He dismissed Ravindra for 5 (12) and clean-bowled him for the third consecutive time in the series.

After the lunch, Will Yang completed his 8th Test half-century. He shared a 70+ run partnership with Daryl Mitchell. Ravindra Jadeja broke this partnership. Jadeja got Will Yang caught out by Rohit Sharma at slip on a personal score of 71.
