New Delhi: India’s standout all-rounder Washington Sundar delivered a sensational performance on Thursday, dismissing New Zealand’s in-form batsman Rachin Ravindra in the second session of the opening day of the second Test in Pune. Sundar repaid the selectors’ faith in him by starting off with a perfect delivery that removed the dangerous Ravindra for 65 runs.

The magic of Washington Sundar came in the 60th over of the Kiwi innings, when he bowled a classic off-spinner’s delivery from round the wicket. As the in-drifter from Washington Sundar pitched on length, Ravindra was bamboozled to come forward and defend it.

If we talk about the bowl’s pitch it turned sharply away, beating the outside edge of Rachin Ravindra’s bat and took the top of the off stump.
